How can we help?

My remote's advanced setup fails and gives an error, what should I do?

If the setup failed, you need to restart the advanced setup. You can restart it by clicking the "Restart" button or directly from your product settings. Menu > Manage my Home > Room > Product > Advanced configuration of your remote control Please follow the recommendations mentioned below: Some tips for advanced configuration -Make sure the remote control batteries are full -Make sure the remote control is turned on -Disable all special modes beforehand and set the remote control to a basic configuration (e.g.: Air conditioning, 28°C, Fan speed 3). -Move away from any other product that uses infrared (TV remote control, motion detector in lights, etc.). During this step, the Smarther AC will pick up the infrared commands from your remote control but may also pick up commands from other products around it. This can cause interference and result in an error. -Make sure your smartphone is not too close to your product. Facial recognition on most smartphones can cause interference. -Stay within 1 meter of the product and point your remote control at the Smarther AC when pressing the buttons. -Wait for the "beep" between each button press. This means that the Smarther AC has received the order from the remote control. -If in doubt, it is best to go back and repeat the step. -If you are already in the requested state, you do not necessarily need to change state to return to it. -At the end of the advanced configuration, leave your product on. It may take some time for the configuration to synchronize. Once the configuration is complete, you will receive a notification and you will be able to control your air conditioner from the Home + Control application. In the event of multiple failures, your air conditioner may use a language very different from the usual languages. This does not mean that your equipment is not compatible. If the error persists, send us photos of your remote control (front and back) specifying the brand and exact reference.
