Passive thermal impact can be used to automate roller shutter management for better thermal comfort, in both summer and winter.
In winter:
- When PTI is "High" or "Low", setting up an automation that opens the solar protections lets you benefit from the sun to help naturally warm your room.
- Conversely, when PTI indicates "Negative", it is best to partially or fully lower your shutters to limit heat loss through your window panes.
- To avoid overheating the room concerned by PTI, you can partially lower* your solar protections when PTI indicates "High" or "Low", as you prefer.
