Do I need to replace the battery?

If you have the Plexo range sensor, yes. The sensor is powered by 2 AAA 1.5V batteries. When the battery level becomes low, the Home + Control app will notify you.
For generic sensors, no. The sensor is powered by a battery that recharges automatically thanks to the built-in solar panel.
