Smart notification in the Home + Control application is an app function that allows users to be notified in a personalized way about the situation of their products. By setting up these notifications, you can ensure that you are alerted whenever the situation of your chosen product matches your trigger condition. This guide will show you how to configure these alerts in general.
Before you try to set up smart notifications, make sure you have your products installed and configured correctly.
Then, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the Home + Control app
Navigate to Settings, select Smart Notifications
2. Create your smart notification
If you don't already have Smart Notifications, you have to click on Add a notification (screen on the left). If you already have a notification created, your notifications are listed, and you just have to tap the ➕ button in the bottom right corner (screen on the right).
Then, you can choose between the pre-made notifications templates OR create a customized one.
In the case you create a new customized one, you can choose between 3 conditions of your products : device state, opening level and instant power as you can see in the screen below.
3. Choose your products involved and set up your smart notification
The list of products available for notifications will depends on the type of trigger conditions
Once your products choosen, you can now edit it. You'll be able to rename the notification and adjust the trigger conditions. Additionally, you can set the duration for which the condition must be met.
Click Save to save your changes and your smart notification will be ready.
