To reset your Gateway power outlet / Control module, and thus reset HomeKit, please follow these steps, depending on the Control device you have in your home.
Gateway Power Outlet :
- Unscrew the Control socket plate and the ring around the socket well.
- Using a toothpick, locate the button at the bottom of the hole next to the "Cogwheel" marking.
- Press and hold the "Cogwheel" button with the toothpick (approx. 10 seconds) until the Control socket LED flashes red very briefly, then release immediately.
Control module:
- Using a toothpick, locate the button on the front panel next to the "Cogwheel" marking.
- Hold down the "Cogwheel" button with the toothpick (approx. 10 seconds) until the module LED flashes red briefly, then release immediately.
Legrand Smart Gateway (US product only)
- Press the EZ button located on the front of the gateway module with the "Star wheel" marking
- Press and hold down the "Star wheel" button using the toothpick (for approximately 10 seconds) until the indicator light on the Gateway module flashes red very briefly and then release it immediately.
This will reset both your HomeKit code and your Wi-Fi connection.
Then go to the Home + Control App, re-configure the Wi-Fi settings that have been reset, and resume installation: "Settings", "Manage my Home", "Prise Control / Control module", "Configure Wi-Fi".
