How can we help?

My connected light switch without neutral is not working properly. What should I do?

If your connected light switch without neutral is not functioning correctly, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check Compatibility with Bulbs

Verify Bulb Type:

  • Ensure that the connected light switch is compatible with LED type bulbs.
  • Check that the load is dimmable (i.e., can be dimmed) before connecting it to the switch.
  • Avoid using non-dimmable LED bulbs as they may damage the switch, even if the dimming function is not used.

Install the Bleeder

Mandatory Bleeder Installation:

  • A bleeder is provided with the light switch, and its installation is mandatory.
  • Install the bleeder even if the switch appears to work normally with the bulb used.
  • The bleeder should be wired in parallel to the load, as close to the load as possible.
  • It must be wired with the neutral conductor.

Series Connection with Multiple Loads:

  • Only one bleeder is needed if multiple loads are connected in a series on the same switch.

Additional Tips

  • Ensure all connections are secure and there are no loose wires.
  • If the problem persists, consult the product manual or contact customer support for further assistance.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with your connected light switch without neutral.
