The thermostat can only be configured with a personal Wi-Fi network. You cannot access the Internet through a public Wi-Fi network (access point) or through a corporate Wi-Fi network that filters ports. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n E77 standards if the network security settings are set to WEP, WPA, or WPA2 Personal.
