How can we help?

My Classe 300EOS device is not connecting to the Internet. What should I do?

Wireless connection issues can be caused by physical interference or the configuration of the WiFi access point. In this article, we will first try to reduce any physical interference, and then offer you some simple steps to troubleshoot your WiFi access point. Reduce Interference Check the distance between your router and your Classe 300 EOS (the ideal distance is 3 m). Walls and some surfaces can absorb the wireless signal. If the connection problem is not resolved, you should install a WiFi repeater in the room where you want to install the product. It is best if your Classe 300 EOS and router are not located: Behind a TV. Near an aquarium. In or under a metal object. In a closed cabinet. Near many cables and wires. Near any wireless devices. If you have any of the following wireless devices in your home, temporarily turn them off to see if that resolves the issue: Laptops, tablets, etc. Wireless printers, wireless speakers, and any other wireless devices. IP cameras. Microwave oven (while in use). Cordless phones. Basic Access Point Setup Restart your WiFi router. If there are multiple WiFi access points (repeater/range booster/extender) on your network, make sure you have set different names (SSIDs) for each access point. Next, make sure your Classe 300 EOS is configured to connect to the access point with the strongest signal. To perform this task, go to the Device Settings (cog) / Network menu. Advanced Access Point Configuration For the following steps, you will need to log in to the router's configuration page. Refer to the router's user manual. Try updating the router to the latest firmware version. Try setting a simpler WiFi password, without special characters. Make sure that no MAC filter is enabled on the router (or check if the Classe 300EOS device is on the supported list). Make sure that access restriction (parental control) is disabled. Check if the router has a hibernation function. If so, disable the function Disable WiFi channel restriction (enable automatic selection) or select channels 1, 6 or 11. If your router is compatible with the 5 GHz frequency, make sure that the 2.4 GHz frequency is also enabled (Legrand Netatmo Bticino products can only connect to 2.4 GHz networks). Try disabling the 5 GHz frequency. Check if UPnP is enabled. It is recommended to use it. Try changing the current DNS servers to Google's (Primary: 8.8.8.8 / Secondary: 8.8.4.4).
