This article will guide you through the process of configuring your Energy Meters and other modules in the Home + Control app to monitor your solar production and house consumption in Home + Control.

Before proceeding, please ensure that you have met all the installation prerequisites detailed in this article: What are the prerequisites for a photovoltaic production monitoring system in Home + Control ?

Step-by-step configuration guide

1. Open the Home + Control app

Launch the Home + Control app on your smartphone.

2. Add your products

Navigate to Settings and tap on Add product.

Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Energy Meter(s) and/or your smart shedder.

3. Set the correct mode for each product

Once your product are added, you will have to set up them. To configure correctly each Energy Meter, be sure to associate the good mode with the good Energy Meter. If you are not sure about which Energy Meter is "Energy Meter 1" or "Energy Meter 2", you can click on "Identify", which will make the LED of your product blink blue.

Photovoltaic production monitoring product 

Select the Energy Meter that is monitoring your solar production and click on it.

Choose Photovoltaic production, rename your product, and your first Energy Meter will be configured.

House consumption monitoring product

If you have a Smart Shedder, it will automatically be set to measure total house consumption. No additional configuration is needed.

If you have an Energy Meter, you need to click on the other Energy Meter, choose Home consumption, rename it, and your configuration will be done !

4. View and edit your modules

If you made a mistake when setting up your Energy Meters, or if you simply want to view or change the mode, here are the steps to follow.

Click on the room where you have added the products. All your devices should be placed in the Electric cabinet.

Select the Energy Meter that you want to view or edit and click on it to open his management page.

Several informations are displayed on the module page. To edit the mode of your Energy Metter, click on "Mode" and select the correct one. 

Note : If you have a Smart Shedder, it will automatically be set to measure total house consumption. You cannot set another mode.

5. Final steps

After configuring the modes for each Energy Meter, your setup is complete.

You can start visualizing your data in the app. You will be able to:

• Monitor Instant Production and Consumption: View real-time data from your dashboard.
• Create Smart Automations: Automate tasks based on your energy production and consumption, such as starting or stopping appliances.
• Track Energy Metrics: Access historical data, auto-production ratios, and auto-consumption ratios to understand your energy usage better.
• Set Up Notifications: Get alerts for overproduction or other significant events in your energy system.

⚠️ Your data might not be displayed immediately after installation and configuration; it needs time to properly measure all consumptions before they appear in Home + Control. This waiting period can be up to 24 hours after the module installation.
